Purses and Love is a non-profit organization started by two friends who have known each other for over 25 years. Devy Walker and Laura Lasko both have a passion for giving back to their community. They decided to combine their talents and create an opportunity for children in domestic violence shelters to also have a chance to experience the joy of giving. Purses and Love (PAL) takes new (or very gently used) purses and fills them with all the items a mom would need in her purse. Wallets, beauty products, sunscreen, mints, handiwipes, bottled water, tissues, and coupons for food treats are a few of the things that fill the purses given to local domestic violence shelters. What makes Purses and Love unique is the purses are given to the children so they have a gift to give to their mother on her special day (Mother's Day, birthday or religious holiday). Purses and Love. . . The gift is in the giving.
Laura Lasko
Laura Lasko is a second generation Arizonan who has dedicated her career to helping others. Laura's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Counseling degree from Arizona State University, and she is currently completing her dissertation for a PhD in Developmental Psychology, also at A.S.U.
Laura has worked extensively in the field of mental health counseling, working with children and families in Phoenix, Arizona and its outlying communities. She has worked in both the public and private sector. She is the sole owner of a private counseling and consulting practice.

About F.A.C.E. in 1994, as she likes to say, "on a wing and a prayer".
Devy built About F.A.C.E. to business that includes a fabulous fashion boutique in Scottsdale, Arizona, her own line of makeup and Kish skincare, permanant makeup services and a fashion and beauty consultation service. Her eye for detail and unique flair are frequently featured by local media.
Devy enables each of her clients to develop their own individualized sense of beauty and style.
